Sculpture Made with Parts of Typewriters

People’s creativity is infinite, and the artists, who are focused on the creation of objects reflecting their feelings never ceases to amaze me. Here’s a good example, from artist Jeremy Mayer, who reciclying parts from old typewriters, creates humanoid sculptures and diverse objects, giving them a “steampunk” or science fiction flair. Enjoy the gallery.

iPad. How Many Half-Truths and Justifications are Made in your Name…

Posted by Arnoldo on August 25, 2010 in iPad |

Since this Apple table arrived, there’s been many hours wasted trying to justificate reasons to buy the gadget. Apart from the lucky ones of us who doesn’t have to back the buy with valid reasons, the rest is in search of that elusive killer app that makes your significant other (or annoying friend): “Oh! So that’s why you bought it!”. Alas, it seems that app is stil waiting to be found. There’s a saying that the fun part is not the destination, but the trip. So lets read some of the ideas surfacing daily trying to turn the owner in a more productive being using this noble device.

I was reading an article named “How I Use My iPad to Get Work Done”. Short but useful, and I found an app I didn’t know named “iThoughts HD” for mind maps. Short but interesting article.

Reboot

Posted by adminBPNM on August 24, 2010 in BienPeroNiModo.com |

Maybe thinking about 9-11 put me down. I took it as a bad reason or I don’t know what. The thing is I stopped publishing here, focused on Twitter an RealLife(R). I kept writing stuff but I’ll put that in other posts. As the Phoenix, I’m making a Reboot and to Give it all.

A special “Thank You” to those friends who never stopped asking biweekly “Have you added something new?” and similar phrases. This is for you.

How to Form Chinese Noodles… By Hand!

Posted by Arnoldo on September 11, 2009 in Food, Time Wasters |

I like food. Really. And like to cook from time to time. But this kind of things put your feet on earth. Pretty special craft skills you need to do this. Now I wonder how they do the dough.

Four minute video, but you can see half of it, the second half is the same technique but with zoom and differente angles.

9-11 8 Years Since

Attacks on WTC in NY on Sep 11 2001

Attacks on WTC in NY on Sep 11 2001

Before He Got the Dr. House Role…

Posted by Arnoldo on September 10, 2009 in Comedy, Television |

People’s romance with House’s character doesn’t seems to slow down, and many out there are surprised when remember Hugh Laurie was Stuart Little’s dad, or that he appeared in that Flight of the Phoenix movie. But what many people ignore is that he is a comedian, a career comedian to be exact. He did sketches and programs with the great Stephen Fry.

Here’s a small sample of this graphic humor sketch from BBC’s “A Bit of Fry and Laurie”.

BPNM : Now In English (Where Available)

Posted by Arnoldo on September 6, 2009 in BienPeroNiModo.com |

Since the beginning I wanted to do this blog in Spanish and English. Now that I saw how to do it, here it is for all of you to see. Please excuse the lack of translation for older articles, if you see them in spanish, I’ll translate them as soon as I can.

Obviously, there will be posts in spanish but not in english, or in english but not in spanish. I’m thinking about what to do, if I let the English version readers to see articles that are only in spanish or hide them. In te first choice you could see all of the content available.

For the time being, you’ll see both of them. Suggestions are welcome.
